DRY CREEK ELEMENTARY MULTI-MEDIA CENTER
Clovis, CA

The challenge of the 3,800 s.f. multi-media center design was two-fold. The school was looking for a technologically advanced facility, emphasizing computers and utilizing the Internet. But there was also a strong desire to maintain the small country school image. S.I.M. Architects was successful in addressing both concerns.

The design features a large reading and reference room, teachers resource and workroom and a large computer classroom, integrating the traditional library functions with the new technology of computers. Utilizing similar materials, colors and forms, the new facility possesses a fresh look, but ties in nicely with the tradition of the campus.
