Following the client's desire for a "Cape Cod" style, S.I.M designed a 3,800 s.f. house that took advantage of the beautiful two acre site while blending comfortably into the neighborhood.

The narrow linear layout not onlymade the house appear larger from the curbside, but also divided the house into the public and private spaces desired by the client.

A private restful courtyard with a soothing waterfall was created by separating the bedroom living from the living/kitchen wing with a entry gallery flooded with natural light from clerestories and glass block
windows.
